Today’s video of the day is a clip of Ten Years After performing “I’m Going Home” live at Woodstock. This performance still stands out as one of the greatest guitar performances of the Woodstock Festival and features hot shot Alvin Lee playing his signature Gibson ES 335. This performance catapulted the band to rock super-stardom and shortly after the release of the subsequent Woodstock movie in 1970, Ten Year After were playing big arenas and stadiums.
What amazes me about this performance is that Lee absolutely knocks it out of the park despite the fact that he appears to be under the influence of some pretty heavy substances.
