Why Should You Listen To Us?
Hey fellow guitar player, I would like to take a moment to tell you why we built this site…
First things first: My name is Jeremy and I have been playing guitar for 7 years. I’ve had several teachers. For the first 5 years I felt that I was progressing reasonably well. At around this time, I had a friend describe his teacher as a “master guitar player” and I was so impressed that I decided to call him up. After talking to him, I thought I would give him a try and shortly after I started taking lessons from him.
I would like to introduce you to my friend and musical mentor Alan Hume. He himself has played guitar for nearly 40 years and has been teaching for over 30. What immediately struck me was his thoroughness and depth of knowledge on any aspect of the guitar/guitar playing.
Fast-forward 2 years => I am still taking lessons from Alan (as one of his 25+ students) and am really happy with how far my playing has come. What continues to impress me is his versatility both as a teacher and as a player. Also his ability to genuinely communicate with his students and help them diagnose and fix ANY technical problem they may have.
I recently asked him “after playing and teaching for so many years, what would you say you were best at?” His answer was improvisation. His personal style of playing is based very much around improv, and so is his teaching, regardless what style the pupil is interested in. This is one of the reasons why his dozens of students are all very in tune with bringing out the musical voices of what they are playing. Alan continually emphasizes that this skill is a large part of what makes a great musician “great”.
One thing that him and I have both talked about is how few jam tracks there are that help you really build up your improv skills in lots of different genres of music.
Now don’t get me wrong, there are thousands and thousands of jam tracks online…it’s just that most of them are really basic and many genres are passed right over. Also, a large portion of improvisation is based on rhythm and many of these tracks lack an interesting rhythmic component.
This is where GuitarJamTracksHQ fits in. Alan has spent the past 6+months creating top quality jam tracks for a variety of genres designed to help all guitar players improve their improvisational chops (regardless what genre they like or what their abilities are).
I am trying to help him get these jam tracks out to the world because I believe in them and their ability to help all guitarists get better as much as he does. I hope to be able to post lots of his key lessons here as well so please visit often and subscribe.
Because of the significant investment of time and money that went into creating these jam tracks, we cannot afford to give them away completely free, but we do want to ensure they are affordable for the masses. Also, we want you to know the quality of the products you are buying so we urge everyone to download our FREE Blues Guitar Jam Track BEFORE buying our set.
Our promise to you is that you will always get awesome, super useful information from this site and should you decide to purchase these jam tracks, you will get an excellent product that will really help your playing improve!
More On Our Jam Tracks…
Whether you’re just looking for one unique track to practice a certain scale over, or a set that will help you learn all your major modes, you have to check these out.
For each track you purchase, you are going to get a breakdown of the chords used in the track plus some scale diagrams and pointers for how to use these scales over the different chords in the progressions. You will also get metronome readings for each track and lots of other great info to help you get the most out of your jamming!
Not only that, but if you sign up for our mailing list when you purchase the tracks, we will periodically send you extra tips/information/strategies and other supplementary material so you can keep improving and keep learning with these tracks! As we upgrade our recording rig, we will also send you updated versions of some of the tracks. This is just another way that Guitar Jam Tracks Headquarters is different.
This set consists of 7 tracks (one in each of the Major modes) in the key of C. These tracks are hot off the mixing board and are only available here. Yes, we know you can find some jam tracks online for free…but we can tell you right now that these are not going to sound like what we’re offering you here! If you don’t believe us, have a listen to the clips below for yourself.
*We have included sample solo clips (for the 1st and 2nd tracks) so you can hear how great it can sound to play over top of these tracks! We are working on the rest of them and hope to have at least one sample jam for each track very soon (Please check back).*

Hopefully at least some of the clips you just heard made you want to jam along. Keeping in mind how much time went into recording/mixing/mastering these tracks, we want to offer them at a fair price that should be well within most musicians’ budgets.
While you are more than welcome to buy 1 or more tracks separately, we urge you to consider the whole set; not only because it provides a more complete picture of the major modes, but because there is enough variety to keep you busy for a LONG time. As a guitar player, you want to avoid getting into a creative rut. The way to do this is to have enough variety in your jams/what you play that you’re never hung up playing the same thing for too long. There is so much variety in this set that it’s pretty safe to say that if you are in a rut, trying your hand at all these tracks could help you get out of it!
As A Special Limited-Time Introductory Price, we are offering the complete 7 track set for only
For this price you get instant access to download the mp3 tracks (we are working on making them available in other formats as well) and a PDF eBook loaded with great lesson content to help you get the most out of them.
